The Tuesday Club

The Tuesday Club has always brought the best in new music to Sheffield. Past guests include Annie Mac, Disclosure, Rudimental, Skream, Nero, DJ Fresh, SBTRKT, Jamie XX, Chase & Status, Eats Everything, Redlight, Bonobo, Andy C, Clean Bandit, Sub Focus, Four Tet & Roots Manuva. Regularly featuring at festivals such as Parklife, Transition, Soundwave, Boomtown, Outlook, Dimensions & events such as The Warehouse Project and Annie Mac Presents, this internationally known club night returns for 2016/17 with a selection of world renowned artists.

Andy H

With his roots firmly based in the world of Hip Hop mixing and Turntabalism. Andy has shown that the art of DJing is well and truly alive in 2015. As a UK DMC and Redbull Thre3style finalist, he takes skills honed over the years, combined with his outstanding understanding of the dancefloor to develop a style making him “the DJs DJ”.

His unique showcase style has led him to perform sets at Glastonbury Festival (BBC Introducing), Kendal Calling, Tramlines, Outlook Festival and many more clubs & festivals around the world. His long standing residency at Sheffield’s Tuesday Club (which has recently celebrated its 15th year) has seem him, week in week out, play to capacity crowds supporting most of the biggest names in Hip Hop & Bass music including SBTKT, Major Lazer, Flying Lotus, Jazzy Jeff, Mos Def, Annie Mac, Roots Manuva, DJ Fresh, Public Enemy and many many more.

Alongside this Andy is the Co founder of First Word Records, home of The Haggis Horns, Tall Black Guy, Souleance and Riot Jazz. His own productions and remixes have been released on this label and others including Tru Thoughts and Giant Panda. First Word Records this year reaches its ten year milestone with over 100 releases under its belt.

Stoaty
Stoaty has been DJing for 15 years and has built a reputation for delivering dj sets that are always fresh and ignore musical boundaries, joining the gaps between Beats, Bass, Soul, Hip Hop, Funk and Reggae. Stoaty has played alongside some of the worlds biggest DJs and always holds his own his own playing alongside the most cutting edge artists.

Mikey J
One of the hardest working DJ’s in the north of England, Mikey J has developed his DJ style from his early roots in Drum and Bass and Hiphop to encompass a diverse range of music in his sets. Now infamous for mashing up Reggae with Dubstep, or Funk and Soul with House, Jungle or Breakbeats, Mikey J’s expertise in dancefloor-rocking is unparalleled.
